A-Level Subjects Offered (AS & A2)
Available in Petaling Jaya (DJ), Kota Kemuning Shah Alam, and Live Online (Malaysia).
Mathematics (9709)
Builds transferable skills: precise reasoning, independent problem-solving, mathematical modelling, and results analysis across algebra, calculus, mechanics, probability and statistics. Multiple study routes let centres emphasise Pure Mathematics alone or combine with applied options.
Physics (9702)
Develops data-handling, quantitative reasoning, and the scientific method through core ideas like modelling physical systems, testing predictions, mathematics as the language of physics, waves/energy, and forces/fields. Practical skills are directly assessed through hands-on and analysis components.
Chemistry (9701)
Grows experimental competence and chemical reasoning around atomic structure and bonding, patterns in reactivity, and energy changes. Emphasises evidence from experiments and evaluates accuracy/reliability; practical skills are assessed via laboratory and planning/analysis tasks.
Economics (9708)
Trains learners to explain and analyse real economic issues, evaluate data, and communicate judgements clearly. Content spans micro and macro with unifying concepts such as scarcity and choice, marginal decision-making, equilibrium/disequilibrium, time horizons, efficiency, the role of government, and development.
Further Mathematics (9231)
Extends A Level Mathematics with deeper proof, advanced algebra/calculus, and richer applied options (further mechanics / probability & statistics). Designed for high-attaining learners who already command the full Mathematics syllabus; strengthens logical thinking and complex modelling for quantitative degrees.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Which IGCSE subjects do you teach at Teliti?
Additional Mathematics (0606), Mathematics (0580), Physics (0625), Chemistry (0620), Biology (0610), Accounting (0452), Economics (0455), and English as a Second Language (0510). We also offer Lower Secondary Checkpoint English (0861), Mathematics (0862), and Science (0893).
What is the difference between Add Maths and Maths?
Additional Mathematics covers higher-level algebra, functions, trigonometry identities, coordinate geometry of the circle, sequences and series, vectors, and introductory calculus. Mathematics focuses on number, algebra, geometry and measure, mensuration, probability, and statistics across Core and Extended papers. Both papers include non-calculator Paper 1 which we will teach students how to score A*.
Do you follow the latest Cambridge syllabus?
Yes. Our notes, question banks, and mock papers are mapped to the latest Cambridge content and assessment objectives. When Cambridge updates a topic or skill, we update our materials accordingly.
What class formats can we choose?
* Group Class (Small Group): 6–12 students, fixed weekly slots at Petaling Jaya (DJ) or Kota Kemuning. * One-to-One Tuition: personalised plan and flexible scheduling in-centre or online. * Online Class (Live): interactive whiteboard, A* notes, tutor feedback. * Holiday Intensive (Crash Course): short blocks for high-yield revision and exam rehearsal.
How long are lessons and how big are the classes?
Each lesson runs 1.5 to 2 hours. Group classes are typically 6–12 students to allow live correction, individual questioning, and paced practice.
Do you teach exam techniques and use past papers?
Yes. We train command words, timing plans, calculator and non-calculator strategies, full-working for method marks, and clear presentation. Sciences include regular practice for Paper 2, Paper 4, and Paper 6 skills.
Do you support practical skills for sciences?
Yes. We teach measurement techniques, uncertainty, data analysis, experimental planning, and the style of questions found in practical or alternative-to-practical assessments, using classroom-appropriate activities and Paper 6 style tasks.
Do you accept private or home-schooled candidates?
Yes. We support private candidates with a structured plan, paper-by-paper strategy, and targeted revision packs. Our students come from different places like Puchong, Shah Alam, Klang, Kota Damansara, Tropicana, Bandar Utama, SS2 and Kuala Lumpur KL.
How soon will we see improvement?
Most students show clearer working, fewer careless errors, and better time management within four to six weeks. Larger grade improvements follow consistent past-paper practice and feedback over a term. We align to your school’s scheme of work and prepare for both school assessments and Cambridge examination papers.
What are the fees and are there discounts?
Fees vary by format (group, one-to-one, online, intensive). Group classes are RM 150 per class, discounts are available for multiple subjects and siblings.
Where are you located and do you teach online?
We teach in Petaling Jaya (DJ) and Kota Kemuning, and we run live online classes for students anywhere in Malaysia as well as around the world.

As an IGCSE student taking add maths, I feel tuition Teliti is quite a suitable one for students who have tight schedules and heavily rely on tuition to boost their overall results. Not only is there a good teacher (Mr Terry), but the books he created, with blood, sweat, and tears, are TRULY the best ones you can find on the market. This combo is already the best you can have, since the time spent in class can be used to drill tons of practice questions while having a teacher who explains each question carefully. Really a tuition centre to take into consideration. Mr Terry is passionate yet composed; his classes are usually filled with jokes, and he doesn't fail to share his wisdom with his students who are eager to learn from him. I, too, believe the other teachers, under the same centre, have a passion similar to Mr Terry. anddd we get sweets every week for finishing our assignments. The way he uses food to encourage us is really a good tactic.

I personally took the Add Maths class by Mr Terry, the Chemistry class with Mr Martin and Mr Walter, the Maths class with Mr Damian, the Physics class with Mr Daniel. From my experience, all the teachers are great and will put extra effort to make sure you really understand the syllabus. The e-learning website is also extremely convenient. Particularly - I'd say Mr Terry and Mr Martin are the best tutors I've ever had! They have an awesome way of making you understand the subjects they teach, and I would totally recommend it to those taking the IGCSE exams.

The Chemistry and Math tuition here are top notch. Mr Martin has really made chemistry so much easier to understand by projecting it in a different way. Despite his busy schedule he never hesitates to help me with my uncertainties be it online or during classes. He encouraged and motivated me to score well in Chemistry. I have been with Mr Terry since IGCSE and his materials are very detailed and great. He is patient and will always do his best to ensure I understand. Mr Terry also gives extra classes when exams are near for us to ask questions and I find that super helpful.
