Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What types of IGCSE Add Maths classes do you offer (group, 1-to-1, online/in-person)?
We run small-group weekly classes for Year 10 and Year 11, 1-to-1 private classes for targeted support, and both online and in-person options. We also provide intensive revision classes before the May/June and Oct/Nov exam series.
Who is this course for—am I ready if I’m on 0580, and which year groups/ages do you accept?
It suits students strong in IGCSE Mathematics (0580) who want deeper algebra, functions, and calculus. Typical intakes are Year 10–11 (about ages 14–17), including international schools, homeschool (private candidates) and private schools.
What topics are covered for IGCSE Additional Mathematics (0606)?
Functions; Quadratic functions; Factors of polynomials; Equations, inequalities & graphs; Simultaneous equations; Logarithmic & exponential functions; Straight-line graphs; Coordinate geometry of the circle; Circular measure; Trigonometry; Permutations & combinations; Series (Binomial, AP/GP); Vectors (2D); Calculus (differentiation & integration).
How does the 3-Step Learning System work in class?
Each topic starts with a guided Example explaining why steps work. You then attempt a short Self-Test to confirm understanding. Finally, a graded Tutorial set (basic → exam level) locks in technique, time-boxing, and command-word precision, with both non-calculator and calculator practice integrated.
How do you build Paper 1 (non-calculator) and Paper 2 (calculator) answering techniques?
Paper 1: algebra fluency, exact-value trigonometry, inequalities/graphs, estimation, and line-by-line working that earns method marks. Paper 2: efficient calculator workflows (fractions, logs, trig, graph checks), verification steps, and clear written reasoning. We train command words (“show that”, “hence”, “solve”) for both papers.
How long to see improvement—and what’s a realistic A* plan for 0606?
Most students see measurable gains in 6–8 weeks with consistent classes, homework (tutorials), and topical practice drills. For A*/A, plan 3–6 months of structured study: weekly lessons, targeted homework, past-paper cycles, timed sets, and error-log reviews.
What are the tuition fees and timetable for Year 10 & Year 11?
We publish current schedules and fees on our Timetable & Fees page. Typical lessons run 1.5–2 hours weekly with extra classes before exams. Discounts may apply for multi-subject enrolments. Trial/consultation options are available—ask us for the next start date.
How many students are in each class?
We keep groups intentionally small so tutors can check working lines and give individual feedback. Classes are not mixed across different exam series (intakes), ensuring focused pacing and preparation for each cohort.

I took IGCSE oct/nov and I would really recommend Mr Walter (Chem) and Ms Sherlynn (Bio). Ms Sherlynn made me like Biology when I didn’t at all and Mr Walter’s class was super duper fun and I loved hearing about his life story! They are both really helpful and always there to help you if you have any questions! Thank you so much teachers, I really appreciate you guys 💗

As an IGCSE student taking add maths, I feel tuition Teliti is quite a suitable one for students who have tight schedules and heavily rely on tuition to boost their overall results. Not only is there a good teacher (Mr Terry), but the books he created, with blood, sweat, and tears, are TRULY the best ones you can find on the market. This combo is already the best you can have, since the time spent in class can be used to drill tons of practice questions while having a teacher who explains each question carefully. Really a tuition centre to take into consideration. Mr Terry is passionate yet composed; his classes are usually filled with jokes, and he doesn't fail to share his wisdom with his students who are eager to learn from him. I, too, believe the other teachers, under the same centre, have a passion similar to Mr Terry. anddd we get sweets every week for finishing our assignments. The way he uses food to encourage us is really a good tactic.

I personally took the Add Maths class by Mr Terry, the Chemistry class with Mr Martin and Mr Walter, the Maths class with Mr Damian, the Physics class with Mr Daniel. From my experience, all the teachers are great and will put extra effort to make sure you really understand the syllabus. The e-learning website is also extremely convenient. Particularly - I'd say Mr Terry and Mr Martin are the best tutors I've ever had! They have an awesome way of making you understand the subjects they teach, and I would totally recommend it to those taking the IGCSE exams.

The Chemistry and Math tuition here are top notch. Mr Martin has really made chemistry so much easier to understand by projecting it in a different way. Despite his busy schedule he never hesitates to help me with my uncertainties be it online or during classes. He encouraged and motivated me to score well in Chemistry. I have been with Mr Terry since IGCSE and his materials are very detailed and great. He is patient and will always do his best to ensure I understand. Mr Terry also gives extra classes when exams are near for us to ask questions and I find that super helpful.
